This is, hands down, my favorite restaurant in Gray! I'm a sucker for a good tuna salad sandwich and TBTT does NOT disappoint! Their chicken salad sandwich is a close second. My wife prefers the roast beef panini and the desserts are always fresh and out for everyone to see. While you wait (or after you're finished), you can shop the various antiques on your way out of the business.
The owners are so friendly and love having people come visit them. If you're ever in Gray, make a point to stop by!
I was searching the internet for a place for lunch and found this gem. There isn't a big sign outside so it's a bit hard to find. It's INSIDE a small antique store. The decor and furnishings are lacking and that's mighty fine with me. It's all about the charm and the food. It's small town southern hospitality and cooking at its best. Homemade sandwiches, salads, desserts, and more. Pimento cheese like grandma made, chicken salad made with cream cheese instead of mayo (ahhhmazing) and a witty and gracious host made for a fabulous pit stop. Finished the meal with a piece of key lime pie. Delicious.
Great food, super friendly/funny service, and reasonably priced. All around great lunch experience!
I happened by this quaint little mom & pop cafe & antique shop on my latest road trip. Mom & Pop were there cooking, waiting tables & answering questions about antique items.
For lunch I had the Berry Salad with the homemade Treasure Chicken Salad (made with cream cheese instead of mayo) It was delicious! They sell it & another type of chicken salad by the pound.
I also found a picnic blanket that zips up into a carrying pouch (never used! Brand new!) & a schnazzy pair of sunglasses- both for a fair, reasonable, incredibly low price.
If you're ever in Gray, love antiquing & good food, stop by Treasure by the Tracks!
We stopped here on a road trip and it is awesome. A sweet little restaurant in the middle of an antique store. We all had sandwiches and they reminded me of the sandwiches my Mama makes. Yummy! Looking through the shop while you wait was so much fun...saw so many things that reminded me of my childhood. I would stop here again on the next trip.
